A Baker’s Dozen for the Goose Tower

I was invited to re-make a Danish folk artifact from only a written description of the original.  This was commissioned by Mark Dion for a project he produced for Tumult, a public art festival in Vordingborg, Denmark.   This piece was made with paper maché, except for the pony’s hair which was made from the discarded braids of a stranger (gleaned from my friend’s neighbor’s free box in Portland, Oregon).
